Our Philosophy

The name ARCC (Assessment, Rehabilitation, Consultation, and Counseling) Neuropsychology reflects the increasing focus of the practice and our goal of Building the Bridge Between Psychology and Medicine.

Our History

Dr. Gregory Malo was first licensed in 1980 as a clinical psychologist and soon after formed his private practice formerly known as Clinical Psychologists of Oak Brook. In 1999, Dr. Randy Summerville joined the practice. In 2004, Dr. Malo and Dr. Summerville made the decision to discontinue directly providing therapy services in order to focus solely on the growing need and demand for neuropsychological and psychological assessments. Due to this change, they expended the group and hired additional clinicians to provide therapy and counseling services. With the growing practice, in 2005, Clinical Psychologists of Oak Brook relocated to Lombard and changed their name to Gregory Malo, PsyD & Associates in Neuropsychology.

In the years since then, the practice has continued to grow with additional office and clinical staff to meet the continued growing demand for therapy and assessments. In 2012, Dr. Summerville became the Clinical Director, President, and owner of the practice. As Dr. Malo continues to decrease his caseload to prepare for retirement and the practice continues to grow, the name has once again changed to reflect the change and increase in patients’ needs.
